Fundraising with chocolates
With no expensive High St shops to maintain, the savings they make enable them to provide lower prices for their customers. It has always been possible for anyone to generate a ‘discount’ by placing orders of over £125 but Chocolates for Chocoholics have now created a new opportunity to help anyone who is fundraising– the Gold Discount Scheme.
This new option from Chocolates for Chocoholics will enable fundraisers from all over the UK to generate income by encouraging family, friends, work colleagues etc to combine their orders to produce a substantial cash discount and free gifts. Charities who are fundraising can also work in larger groups to collect bigger orders that will lead to more discount and valuable free gifts.
At Christmas and Easter consumer spending on chocolates and gifts is always higher and fundraisers can benefit by encouraging people to order through Chocolates for Chocoholics rather than High Street stores where the only beneficiary is the store.
This is an ideal way for a charity to make money by fundraising as virtually anyone can apply to get involved and the start up costs are minimal. Sales are created by simply distributing the Chocoholics brochures to people in the local area. NB. This scheme is not available in areas where we have a local Distributor who sells our range as they are able to offer a more personal service.
How to be a Gold Discount Fundraiser:
1) Phone Chocoholics on 01189 321043 for an initial chat, at that stage we will be able to advise you of the best way to proceed.
2) Complete A Gold Discount Fundraiser application form.
3) You will need to purchase a small display kit worth about £50.00 plus carriage. You can, if you wish, select your own range of products for your kit so that the products reflect the kind of customers you are more likely to talk to. The next step is to telephone Chocoholics with the details of the items you would like in your display kit and your payment details. As the products are all saleable you should be able to sell the products in the kit to recover your initial investment. This means you can effectively generate income at no cost to the fundraising group.
4) You will receive a package by courier shortly afterwards that will contain your kit, ample brochures for fundraising, carriers bags, tasting samples, stationery etc.
5) Hand out the brochures to your family, friends, work colleagues etc and ask them to fill out an order form and hand it to you with payment.
6) As soon as you accumulate a minimum of £125.00 of orders you should phone Chocoholics and place your order. It will be delivered a few days later.
7) All orders of over £125.00 will have 15% discount deducted and the order will be sent post free. You are free to place just one order if you wish or you can continue to place orders thoughout the season.
8) Once you have finished compiling your orders you can then, if applicable, claim your free gift(s), details about the gifts available are in our brochure. These can either be shared amongst the fundraisers or used as raffle prizes to generate even more income for the fundraising group.
9) Over the past few years we have found that providing someone is prepared to organise this, then a relatively small group of fundraisers can collect orders worth £1500 to £2000 with limited effort. This would produce a generous commission that could be handed to your charity.
